Installing the VPN Client on Linux

Installing OpenVPN GUI on Linux after purchasing your login credentials is very simple and quick thanks to our tutorial. Follow the steps below to connect your computer to our VPN servers

STAGE 1:

  • Click on the Ubuntu icon at the top left of your screen
  • Type terminal to search for the application
  • Open the Terminal application by clicking on the icon


  • STAGE 2:

  • Type the line : sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome
  • Confirm by pressing the Enter key and enter your password.
  • Allow installation by pressing the letter o and then the Enter key
  • Wait during installation, this may take 10 to 20 seconds.


  • STAGE 3:

  • Right-click the NetworkManager icon (both arrows)
  • Choose Edit Connections


  • STAGE 4:

  • Click on Add
  • From the list, choose Import registered VPN configuration
  • Then click on create


  • STAGE 5:

  • Choose the .ovpn file sent by email after payment of the service
  • Click on open


  • STAGE 6:

  • Click on Register


  • STAGE 7:

  • Right-click the NetworkManager icon (two arrows) and choose the server of your choice.


  • STAGE 8:

  • You are now logged in !
